I think mySQL is better and it is used very much so getting help on MySQL will be easier than PgSQL. Both of them has same functionality but MySQL has been there for a long time so it is better than pgSQL.

I use pre-made scripts and almost all of them require a MySQL database and very few require a pgSQL database. So in my opinion MySQL is better than pgSQL but its your own preference what to use.

Since I've just started learning PHP and I use MySQL. I learnt it quite fast. I don't know about pgSQL. I'll try to find about it.

Yes I'll go with MySQL also not that I'm an expert on it.
Almost everybody i know uses it. So i guess it is a great tool
in design.
