Yahoo - the lazy spider ?

I've noticed that Yahoo's spider seems to be carrying on the old Inktomi tradition of only indexing selected files ( usually older files ) on my site.

Anyone else getting this kind of spidering or is it just me ?

Yeah the yahoo spiders are really slow. But if you register in the paid database your site information will be updated daily.

I don’t think that it should be that the basis for calling them slow. They are just using a different algorithm when ranking sites. Now if your site is compatible to their algorithm then you would get faster indexing.

This happens on my first site.
